William ‘uncomfortable’ about talking with Harry after private chat shared

Prince William is reportedly "uncomfortable" about talking with his brother Prince Harry after a US telly host revealed details of a private conversation.

Chat show star Gayle King told a television show that the pair had shared "unproductive" talks soon after the bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview aired.

Now the second in line to the throne is said to be "uncomfortable" with chatting to his sibling as their relationship continues to suffer.

A source told US Weekly: "William was left reeling. He says it was a cheap shot to leak details of their private call and that he twisted the truth.

"He's putting himself at risk of the same thing happening again."

King, 66, told CBS This Morning that the brothers had been in touch with each other after Harry and Meghan Markle's dramatic interview in March.

She told the show: "Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too.

"The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive, but they are glad they at least started a conversation."

Harry and Meghan made a number of explosive claims in the tell-all interview with Oprah, including accusations that a Royal Family member questioned how dark baby Archie's skin tone would be and Meghan's claim she was denied help for her mental health struggles.

Buckingham Palace released a statement a few days after the interview aired, saying: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.

"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning.

"Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."

William also told reporters the royals are " very much not a racist family" at a public event.

The source said William and the family are struggling to move on from the accusations made to Oprah.

It continued: "The problem with Harry is that he's hooked on being right and regardless of saying he wants to move on from this, he won't back down until he gets some form of apology from his family."
