A mum who filmed her day pretending to be her teenage daughter at school faces legal action.
Casey Garcia, 30, has been charged on suspicion of criminal trespassing and tampering with government records in relation to her posing as a 13-year-old schoolgirl.
Garcia from San Elizario, Texas alleges in a home video that she was not busted by a teacher at her daughter's middle school until the seventh lesson of the day.
In footage lasting six minutes uploaded to Youtube, Garcia documents her dressing up as her daughter in a hoodie, glasses and face mask before allegedly sitting down in lessons and the lunch hall.
Early on in the clip, which has been viewed more than 35,000 times, the mum claims to have a passing conversation with the school's principle without her cover being foiled.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office said Garcia was arrested following reports from staff at San Elizario Independent School District identifying her, KFox14 reports.
Garcia was taken to the El Paso County Detention Facility on the charges related to the incident and an unrelated traffic warrant. She was being held on a bond of $7,908.
The 30-year-old even filmed the moment officers arrived at her property to arrest her.

In an explanation video uploaded on Friday titled 'Why I posed as my 13 year old daughter. A raw but real answer.' Garcia insists she acted in the interests of a concerned parent.
She said: "I didn't do this to get views, I didn't do this to get likes I didn't do this so people get mad at me so I can never walk around El Paso again.
"I was going as my daughter, I wasn't impersonating another child, I wasn't going to be someone else, I was going as my kid and my kid only.
"I was nervous the entire time, whether you believe it or not, that's on you.

"I was the only student in one of my classes, the teachers were so preoccupied with the students online that they weren't paying attention to the students that were there physically."
Garcia said that if she can get away with the stunt, others would be able to as well.
She continued: "I bet you anything someone else can do this, this is why I did this.
"I think the deal breaker for me as walking in as a seventh grader, I mean I'm no spring chicken but it wasn't hard and I made it to all seven periods until the last teacher.
"She looked at me and said 'you're not Julie'. I was like no I'm not, I took of my mask, I took off my glasses and I said no I'm not Julie, I'm Julie's mum.
"I said for a social experiment, I wanted to see if I could make it the entire day without someone noticing and I'd say up until seventh period, that's a very long day for a 30-year-old.
"I did this to prove a point, I proved that I could get through the public school system and I made it without any problem, I ate lunch without my mask on".
