Shawn Rhoden, Mr Olympia champion, has reportedly died at the age of 46.
The pro bodybuilder is said to have tragically suffered a fatal heart attack, according to sources close to Generation Iron.
The publication reported that Rhoden’s trainer, Chris Aceto, also confirmed the bodybuilder's death to his close friends.
Hundreds of posts on social media from fellow athletes, friends and fans began to pour out for the late champion star on Saturday morning.
One fan paid tribute on Twitter: "RIP Shawn Rhoden. Very sad news and a travesty’s that your never had another chance to win Mr O!"
Another wrote: "Still can't believe it. Rest in power Shawn Rhoden."
Rhoden was a bodybuilding legend and faced serious controversy in the years after winning the Mr. Olympia in 2018.
He fell in love with bodybuilding in 1992 and entered into the sport at an amateur level.
But he sadly faced several injuries and after his dad died, he turned to alcoholism.
Years later after a slow and steady recovery, he returned to the sport, eventually earning his IFBB Pro card in 2010.
The bodybuilder placed 11th at his Mr. Olympia debut in 2011.

He then amazingly rose to third place in 2012 and from then remained in the top five of the competition year after year.
Rhoden defeated Phil Heath in the Mr. Olympia at the age of 43 in 2018, which made him the oldest bodybuilder to ever win the title.
Fellow bodybuilder Juan Morel, who goes by nickname "Diesel," shared a tribute for Shawn on Instagram.
"We shared so many great memories together," he wrote.
"We travelled the world, talked endlessly about our little girls. My heart goes out to your beautiful princess I can’t believe today she lost her dad her superhero."
