The royal journalist and biographer behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2020 biography has confirmed a new book is in the works for 2023.
Omid claims that the currently untitled book will focus “on a new chapter of the royal story and feature unique insight, deep access, and exclusive revelations”.
According to Publishers Weekly, the rights were bought by Carrie Thornton at Dey Street

The rights to the book deal were brokered by Omid’s agents at United Talent Agency on his behalf. It is not known how much the book was sold for.
Royal biographer and New York Times best-selling author Omid Scobie announced the book deal on Twitter, along with a screenshot with more information on the deal.
The tweet read: “Now that it's Publishers Weekly official, I can finally share that I'm working on a BRAND NEW BOOK! […] Coming 2023!”

“Dey Street said Scobie, who co-wrote ‘Finding Freedom’, a 2020 biography of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, will focus ‘on a new chapter of the royal story and feature unique insight, deep access, and exclusive revelations’.

“Albert Lee at United Talent Agency brokered the deal on behalf of Scobie”.
The Royal Family remained tight-lipped as the Sussexes' unofficial biography Finding Freedom created a stir with its publication in 2020.
According to a senior royal source, the palace was keen to step back from the “soap opera” surrounding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

A close pal of Meghan Markle has claimed that the Royal Family now has a new policy when it comes to bad news – “deflect and distract”.
We reported last month how Omid Scobie, claimed that at the same time as news about Prince Charles allegedly taking a “bag of cash” as a donation to his charities and that a report into alleged bullying by Meghan Markle was being “buried”.
Scobie claims that the new police from the Royal family has “risen within the institution of the monarchy”.
