Geoff Campbell was one of 67 Britons killed of 2,763 who died in the terror attack back in 2001 when two aeroplanes crashed in the World Trade Center causing the skyscrapers to collapse.

But his family, supported by a scientific team, have claimed the towers were laced with explosives which brought them down.

His family said there was “significant evidence” that wasn’t heard during the 2013 London inquest of Mr Campbell and nine other British citizens killed in the attack.

His older brother Matt said: “I believe there has been a cover-up.

“We have scientifically and forensically backed evidence that the official narrative surrounding the Twin Towers collapse on 9/11 is wrong.”

Earlier this week, a 3,000-page dossier was handed to the Government’s top legal adviser, acting Attorney General Michael Ellis.

In their research, the family have found seismographic recordings picked up ground movement 12 miles from the North Tower.

These recordings came 15 seconds earlier than 8.46am when a hijacked American Airlines plane hit the building.

Matt has insisted there are many unanswered questions about the attack.

He said: “I believe that my brother and thousands of others were murdered on 9/11 and there has been a cover-up.

“We are still overcoming this tragedy, but we will never stop seeking the truth.”

Mr Campbell’s family are demanded an inquest to be re-heard in the “interests of justice” under Section 13 of the UK Coroners Act 1988.

The family must demonstrate evidence not considered at the first inquiry may lead to a different verdict.

Following the 2001 atrocity, his family clung to the hope that he was alive.

But a year on, fragments of a shoulder blade bearing his DNA was found among the rubble.

Mr Campbell had been attending a conference on the 106th floor of the North Tower.

The September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by al-Qaeda.

Four California-bound commercial airliners took off from three different airports across the northeastern US.

All planes were hijacked mid-flight by 19 terrorists, who carried out the attacks in three groups of five and one group of four.

American Airlines Flight 11 was flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan at 8.46am.

Seventeen minutes later at 9.03am, the World Trade Center’s South tower was hit by United Airlines Flight 175.

Both 110-story towers collapsed within an hour and forty-two minutes.

A third flight, American Airlines Flight 77, flown from Dulles International Airport, was hijacked over Ohio and, at 9:37am, was crashed into the west side of the Pentagon causing a partial collapse of the building.

The fourth flight, United Airlines Flight 93, was flown in the direction of Washington, DC.

The plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, at 10.03am, after passengers forced their way into the cockpit and fought the hijackers over the controls.

Investigators determined that Flight 93’s target was either the White House or the Capitol Building.
