Warms days with sunny skies and cool, clear nights will prevail in the region for several days, the dry weather will raise wildfire concerns in some areas.
In Denver on Saturday, sunny skies will help the temperature rise to about 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
Wildfire conditions will be heightened in scattered areas on the Eastern Plains this afternoon, especially along the Wyoming border in northern Weld County.
The extended forecast in the metro area calls for sunny skies and clear nights, with high temperatures in the upper 70s to mid 80s, and clear skies overnight with low temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
The high temperature in Denver on Sunday will top out near 77 degrees, the weather service said, with a high of 81 on Monday. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms creeps back into the metro area forecast on Thursday and Friday.
