A man beats his work's "no shorts" policy by wearing a skirt to the office during the UK heatwave.
During the unprecedented weather the UK is experiencing, workplaces and schools throughout the country have relaxed working practices due to the excessive temperatures.

Not all office workers, though, have been given chance to ditch the trousers in favour of shorts, but one man got round the lack of flexibility from his employers by donning a skirt to head into the office on Monday.
Jesse Thomas posted a selfie of his fashion circumvention on Twitter, with the words: “Work dress code starts no shorts.”
The reaction he got from his followers and other social media users left him more than pleasantly surprised, with more than 39,000 people ‘liking’ his tweet, while he had more than 500 comments and over 3,000 retweets.
One follower wrote in response to the picture of him in his dark blue and red tweed, plaid skirt: “Brilliant! Have they said anything? Were you the only one or did more colleagues wear one?
To which Jesse replied: “Nah, I was the only one but everyone’s been complimentary.”
And there were these words of praise from another follower: “Great look and fair play for not breaking the rules”, while someone else penned: “You look amazing! The amount of times I thought about doing the same thing at my sales job wearing a full suit.”
There were also words of advice from fashion connoisseurs, who gave him a few tips for future skirt and kilt outfits.
One expert tweeted: “In weather like this I’d go for the cotton utility kilt, rather than the heavier (OK, it’s really polyester, but heavy enough to look like wool) trad kilt.”

And another onlooker wrote: “A traditional kilt is made from crazy thick wool though. Incredible winter wear (and beautiful – every man should have one), but they can get insanely hot. In this heat, I’d go for the Britney schoolgirl skirt too!”
All these comments left Jesse to conclude: “Well I wasn’t expecting such an amazing response! All of your comments have been lovely and have had me smiling. Thank you.”
