A 20-year-old woman has denied sexually assaulting a man by slapping his bottom while on a night out.

Scarlett Bareham from Havant, Hampshire, appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court to deny the allegations that she attacked the man on August 5 2020.

According to the Daily Mail, she and fellow defendant, Fiona Hoyle, 19, from Southsea, Hampshire, had been clubbing in the Guildhall Walk area of Portsmouth when the incident occurred.

Bareham, who is a trained beauty and massage therapist, allegedly slapped the victim’s bottom before a fight broke out involving the two friends and what is believed to be the man’s girlfriend.

Bareham is charged with sexual assault and affray, while Hoyle is charged with affray, with both pleading not guilty earlier today, September 20.

Hannah Phillips, 20, was also accused of sexual assault and last month accepted a conditional caution for the incident.
