In a fiery speech during the Tory hustings in Exeter tonight, she vowed to channel the “spirit of our Lionesses” to deliver a “massive victory” for Great Britain if she is elected Prime Minister.
She also branded Labour Leader Keir Starmer as a “plastic patriot”.
She said: “That’s what we can do as we unlock our potential against the plastic patriot Keir Starmer. That is what we can do from the Conservative party.
“People who voted Conservative – from the Blue Wall to the Red Wall to Cornwall – they voted Conservative because they wanted Conservative policies not because they wanted higher taxes, not because they wanted Labour light.
“They voted for us because they believe in our values.”
Earlier in her speech she remarked “I know a woman is a woman”. The comment drew applause from the crowd.
